The Lexus Reserve program awards guests with 30 complimentary reserve days on the purchase/lease of a Lexus RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 and 2024). Guests are able to use these 30 reserve days over the course of 3 years from the date of purchase/lease of their new Lexus RZ 450e EV.

As a Lexus guest, your loyalty is important to us. We want you to be among the first to experience any exclusive guest programs Lexus has to offer.

With the Lexus Reserve program, we wish to provide an exclusive complimentary rental service to our guests who purchase/lease the new RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 – 2024 only).

Unlike other rental companies, the Lexus Reserve program is Lexus dealer based. This means that you have an opportunity to rent from the latest Lexus models, and you get the white glove guest service of a conveniently located Lexus dealer.

All guests who purchase/lease a new RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 – 2024) are eligible for the Lexus Reserve Program.

Lexus reserve days are complimentary rental days that are added to your Lexus account balance upon the purchase or lease of a new RZ 450e EV (model year 2023 – 2024). You may use your reserve day balance to book a Lexus rental vehicle at any Lexus dealership within the United States. 1 reserve day = 24 hours.

To redeem your complimentary reserve days, you must book your reservation through the Lexus app. You can reserve your complimentary Lexus rental vehicle at any Lexus dealership in the United States.

Book your 30 complimentary reserve days (staggered or together) via the Lexus app.

  1. If you are an existing Lexus guest, sign into the Lexus app using your credentials and add your new EV vehicle (RZ 450e) to your account
  2. If you are a new Lexus guest, register for a new account on the Lexus app. Using your newly created credentials, sign into the Lexus app and add your new EV vehicle (RZ 450e) VIN to your account
  3. Select the ‘Find’ option on the bottom navigation bar and then tap the ‘Rentals’ card to start or manage your rental reservation. You can also click the ‘Make Reservation’ button in your Wallet after selecting the ‘Lexus Reserve Credits’ card or in the Announcement page after tapping the ‘Learn More’ button
  4. You will be able to select a pick-up location, pick-up and drop-off dates/times, vehicle, and upload your driver details

All Android devices and iPhones equipped with the latest OS are eligible to download the Lexus app. Visit your device’s app store to download the latest version of the Lexus app.

The Lexus app is not available on the web, as it is intended for use on smartphones and tablets. Use of desktops or laptops to access the Lexus app is not possible.

  1. Download the Lexus app from the App Store® or Google Play™
  2. Follow the prompts to create your Lexus app account. Click on Register and provide your first name, last name, email, mobile number and create a password
  3. Add your Lexus VIN to your newly registered account
  4. Sign in using the credentials created in step 2

If you have already accessed the Lexus app, your profile is already setup. To complete a rental reservation in the Lexus app, you will need to provide valid driver details. You also have the option to upload your driver’s license and insurance information to save time at the counter.

If you are downloading the app for the first time, you will be guided through a series of steps to create an account and you will be asked to enter your vehicle’s VIN number.

Select the ‘Find’ option on the bottom navigation bar and then tap the ‘Rentals’ card to start or manage your rental reservation. You can also tap the ‘Make Reservation’ button in your Wallet after selecting the ‘Lexus Reserve Credits’ card or in the Announcement page after clicking the ‘Learn More’ button.

You will be able to select a pick-up location, date/time, vehicle, and upload your driver details.

Yes, if you have added your newly purchased/leased RZ 450e EV VIN to your Toyota app, you would be able to use your complimentary Lexus Reserve credits for a rental reservation. To begin booking your complimentary Lexus Reserve rental vehicle, select the ‘Rentals’ card on your home screen to start or manage a rental reservation. You will be able to select a pick-up location, date/time, vehicle, and upload your driver details.

Yes. If you have your Toyota VIN added to your Lexus app, you would be able to see the ‘Rent a Toyota’ card on the app. To begin booking your Toyota rental reservation, select the ‘Rentals’ card on your home screen to start or manage a rental reservation. You will be able to select a pick-up location, date/time, vehicle, and upload your driver details.

If you have an account on both the Toyota and Lexus apps with the same credentials and use those credentials to login to both these apps, you will see your Lexus Reserve reservations in your Toyota app and vice-versa. You will also receive notifications regarding your reservation.

If you have an account on both the Toyota and Lexus apps with the same credentials and use those credentials to login to both these apps, you will see your Rent a Toyota reservations in your Lexus app and vice-versa. You will also receive notifications regarding your reservation.

The Lexus app communicates directly with customers in two ways: in-app and via email.

The Lexus app will communicate via email to provide reservation confirmations, and if applicable, receipt for successful modification/cancellation and total charges (credit days).

Note: Depending on the location for which you have booked, we may contact you directly via your mobile number (phone or email) during or near the time of your rental to confirm pick-up and drop-off schedules.

No. Rental vehicle remote start/stop feature is not a feature included in this app version.

No. We will not offer additional insurance coverage plans. The dealership you rent from will call your insurance provider prior to your arrival to ensure you are covered.

You can book a rental reservation for someone else through the Lexus app by providing their first name, last name, a valid email address, and phone number. A valid driver’s license and insurance information needs to be provided at the time of pick-up for verification. The name on the rental reservation must match that on the driver’s license and insurance.

Additional drivers cannot be added to the rental reservation made through the Lexus app but can be added at the dealership at the time of vehicle pick-up and such drivers must present a valid driver’s license. Please inform the dealership if you plan to add additional drivers to the rental agreement.

If a guest deletes their Lexus app, any upcoming rental reservations made via the Lexus app would also get deleted. To resume booking their rental reservation, a guest would have to download the Lexus app again, sign in (or register in case of account deletions), add their Lexus VIN (new RZ 450e EV) and follow the prompts to make a reservation.

If a guest deletes their Lexus account on the Lexus app, all unused reserve days would be unavailable for use. Once the guest re-registers their account on the Lexus app, any unused reserve days would be added back to the guest’s account provided the reserve days have not expired.

No. At this time, the Lexus Reserve program is only available to guests who purchase or lease a new RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 – 2024).

The name of the Lexus dealership you are renting from can be found on the ‘Rentals Landing’ page, under the ‘Active’ or ‘Upcoming’ tab. Upon clicking your active or upcoming reservation, the complete dealer address will be displayed on your reservation summary page along with your reservation number.

Your rental vehicle may be driven anywhere throughout the continental United States, Alaska, and Canada, as long as it is returned to the same dealership you picked up from.

You cannot drive your Lexus rental in Mexico.

If the vehicle is driven off road, Lexus will be notified. Also, additional charges may be incurred.

Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license to rent a Lexus vehicle. Check with individual dealers for exact age requirements, as this may vary by state.

You need to provide the driver’s first name, last name, a valid email address, and phone number to reserve a vehicle through the Lexus app.

If the reservation is for the primary owner, this information is pre-populated. In case the reservation is for the primary owner’s guest (someone else), you would have to provide the first name, last name, valid email address, and phone number of the person you are booking the reservation for.

You also have the option to upload your driver’s license and insurance information within the Lexus App to save time at the counter. However, at the time of vehicle pick-up, you need to present a valid driver's license and insurance for verification.

Proof of full coverage insurance that will transfer to the rental vehicle will be required at the time of rental.

The driver would have to provide a credit card in their own name to rent a vehicle once they arrive at the dealership.

Notes about licenses:

  • A valid license from the renter's state of residence or country of origin is required (i.e., must not be expired, must not have any restrictions)
  • An international driving permit or license is acceptable but is not required
  • A military license is acceptable, as long as it is accompanied by the renter's state of residence license, as well as proof that the renter is on active duty
  • A learner's permit is not an acceptable license
  • A temporary license, permit or application for a driver's license may be acceptable.
  • Always check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to verify that such paperwork is valid and has not expired
  • ome states will hold a driver's license after a ticket has been issued by police. This ticket is not an acceptable substitute for a driver’s license

If you have purchased/leased a new RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 – 2024) you are eligible to rent a complimentary Lexus vehicle using the Lexus app as a part of the Lexus Reserve program. You cannot purchase or add additional reserve days to your account.

All guests who purchase/lease a new RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 – 2024) receive 30 complimentary reserve days that can be used over a period of 3 years from the date of first use.

You can check your complimentary reserve days balance in your wallet under the ‘Lexus Reserve Credits’ card. To access the wallet, click on the ‘Finance’ option in the bottom navigation bar.

Reserve days balance view is also available on the vehicle switcher page. Simply long-hold the vehicle icon in the bottom navigation bar. Your vehicle switcher page will pop up and the reserve days balance will be displayed under your vehicle information.

Currently, we are unable to provide guests the option to either add or purchase additional reserve days.

In the event of a guest consuming all 30 reserve days, the guest cannot add or purchase additional reserve days.

Lexus reserve days are non-transferable. In the event of resale or transfer of vehicle ownership and/or upon the expiration of lease, the unused complimentary reserve days will expire.

Reserve days do not have any cash value associated with them. They can only be redeemed via the Lexus app or Toyota app.

All Lexus dealers in continental US will allow you to make a rental reservation for the same day, if vehicles are available at the dealership.

To view your existing reservations, open the Lexus app. Then tap on the ‘Find’ option on the bottom navigation bar and click on the Rentals Card.

Your current and upcoming reservations would be displayed under the ‘Active’ and ‘Upcoming’ tabs respectively. To view details of your past reservations, tap the ‘Past’ tab.

If you need to modify an upcoming reservation, select the applicable reservation under the ‘Upcoming’ tab and tap on the ‘Edit’ button under the displayed Reservation Summary. Click the pencil icon next to the selections you want to modify like dealership, date and time, and vehicle.

  • Tapping the pencil icon next to the Vehicle Details and/or the date/time details will allow you to re-select the Vehicle Details and/or the date/time Details for your upcoming reservation
  • Modifying any one of these (pick-up date/drop-off dates, vehicle and/or dealership) may result in modifying the entire rental reservation. You would have to select new pick-up/drop-off dates, vehicle, based on dealership availability
  • Tapping the pencil icon next to the ‘Driver Information’ card will allow you to modify your (or someone else’s) driver details
  • If you choose to modify pick-up/drop-off date and time, you will also be asked to reselect a vehicle because vehicle availability is subject to change based on daily inventory
  • You will not be charged for modifying a reservation in the Lexus app

NOTE: Same day rental modifications are dependent upon dealer availability.
If you wish to modify an active reservation, please call your selected dealership directly. Once the dealership modifies your active reservation, the changes will be reflected on your Lexus app.

Your reservation will be modified, and your complimentary reserve days will be updated to reflect any changes to your reservation. Modifications are subject to vehicle availability.

To cancel a reservation, navigate to the ‘Rentals Landing’ page, find the upcoming reservation that you would like to cancel, and select it

  • On the bottom of the ‘Reservation Summary’ page, tap ‘Cancel’
  • A dialogue box will pop-up asking you to confirm if you wish to cancel your reservation
  • Tap the ‘Yes, Cancel’ button
    You will not be charged for cancelling a reservation in the Lexus App, even if the reservation is less than 24 hours from the reserved pick-up time

Your reservation will be cancelled, and your complimentary reserve days will be updated to reflect that cancellation (reserve days will be credited to the guest’s account). If you do not cancel your rental reservation and do not pick up your rental vehicle at the dealership at the start of your reservation (no show), you will lose the complimentary reserve days associated with that reservation (reserve days will not be credited to the guest’s account in this scenario).

You may cancel or modify your reservation at any time without penalties or a cancellation fee.

Note: If the dealership needs to cancel, they will call/email you at least 24 hours prior to your pick-up time notifying you of your options.

Vehicles available for rental reservation in the Lexus app are classified based on vehicle type. We cannot guarantee color, trim package, add-ons, or specific vehicle model.

You may select a vehicle type while booking your rental vehicle, but actual vehicle availability is subject to dealer inventory.

The following vehicle classes are available to choose from after selecting pick-up and drop-off time:

  • Sedan
  • SUV
  • Hybrid and Electric*
  • Coupe
  • Performance

*Hybrid and Electric models may be available at select dealers depending on inventory

No. Within the Lexus app itself you will not be able to choose any of these options. We wish to keep the reservation process within the app as simple and hassle-free as possible.

If you would like to modify your vehicle class, follow the steps listed in previous sections related to ‘Modify Vehicle’.

We cannot guarantee color, trim package, add-ons, or specific vehicle model.

No. Guests can book their complimentary reserve days only via the Lexus or Toyota app.

Normal operating hours vary by dealer. The available pick-up and drop-off times will display in the Lexus App based on dealer availability.

For special accommodations outside of our normal operating hours, please contact the dealership directly.

Your Lexus rental can be picked up directly at the dealership. See section above for questions related to pick-up and drop-off.

Pick-up and drop-off services are offered on a per dealer basis. If booking through the Lexus app, the dealership will assume that you have transportation to the dealership to pick up the Lexus rental vehicle.

If you are unable to get transportation to the Lexus dealership, please open your Lexus app to find contact details for your dealership.

If you notify the dealership of your situation prior to your arrival, the dealership will communicate whether they can accommodate your request.

  • The name on the rental reservation must match that on the driver’s license and insurance
  • The guest whose name is entered in driver details in the Lexus app needs to be present at the time of vehicle pick up at the dealership and a valid driver’s license and insurance information registered to the driver needs to be presented at the dealership for verification
  • Through the Lexus app, a reservation can be made for the primary owner and their guests.
  • Currently, we do not have the option to add an additional driver to your rental reservation made through the Lexus app

The Lexus app is configured to only allow pick-up/drop-off during normal dealership operating hours. Hours of operation vary by dealership.

Note: Please check the specific location information for operating hours and call the specific dealership phone number, which can be found in the mobile app, to inquire about special pick-up/drop-off arrangements outside normal hours.

Unfortunately, you cannot modify any rental reservation associated with a service appointment. Please call your service dealer in this scenario.

If guest does not pick-up their Lexus rental vehicle or contact the dealer within 3 hours of reservation start, then their reservation will be cancelled. In this scenario, guest will lose the reserve days associated with the no-show reservation and would need to create a new reservation.

Mileage limitations are subject to dealership rental agreement terms. Please inquire with the dealership if you plan to take the vehicle out of state.

Standard features for each vehicle can be found on Lexus.com.

Remember, we do not accept specifications for any additional features in the Lexus App, but you can always call ahead with special requests.

Within the Lexus app itself you will not be able to choose any extras. We wish to keep the reservation process within the app as simple and hassle-free as possible.

If you wish to add trip protection, satellite radio, GPS navigation, or other premium features, you can inquire about these features with the rental dealer.

At this time the vehicle must be returned to the Lexus dealership where it was rented. Check with your dealer about off-site pick-up services.

Return the vehicle to the dealership you rented from.

The dealership name is found on the ‘Rentals’ landing page, under your reservation (whether in the ‘Active’ or ‘Upcoming’ tab) in your Lexus app. Upon clicking your active or upcoming reservation, the dealer address will be displayed on your ‘Reservation Summary’ page.

A dealer team member will complete check-out procedures with you when you arrive.

Simply return the vehicle to the dealership you rented from.

The name of the Lexus dealership you are renting from can be found on the ‘Rentals Landing’ page, under the ‘Active’ or ‘Upcoming’ tab. Upon clicking your active or upcoming reservation, the complete dealer address will be displayed on your ‘Reservation Summary’ page.

A Lexus customer service team member will complete check-out procedures with you when you arrive.

Most Lexus vehicles are available to purchase after their short six-month in-service period. Please check with your dealer for details.

  • There is no cash value associated with your Lexus Reserve rental vehicle. You will be charged in reserve days (1 reserve day = 24 hours, no partial days) for your Lexus Reserve rental vehicle.
  • The Lexus Reserves program awards guests with 30 complimentary reserve days on the purchase/lease of a Lexus RZ 450e EV (model years 2023 and 2024). Guests are able to use these 30 reserve days over the course of 3 years from the date of purchase/lease of their new Lexus RZ 450e EV.
  • Re-fueling is encouraged but optional. If you skip it, the dealership may charge for the difference in fuel in accordance with the Lexus Rental Agreement. Guest is responsible for tolls and any violations and vehicle damages as indicated in the Lexus Rental Agreement (which might be a cash value).

There is no cash value associated with your Lexus complimentary rental vehicle. You will be charged in reserve days (1 reserve day = 24 hours, no partial days) for your Lexus rental vehicle.

Lexus dealerships accept all major credit cards like Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Prepaid cards are not accepted.
The credit card must be in the same name as the driver of the rental.

No. You will not need to provide payment information until you arrive at the dealership to pick-up your rental. Upon executing the rental agreement on site, you may be prompted to provide a credit card for payment. A pre-authorized amount might be held at this time. Please check with your dealership for details on any pre-authorized amount.

The grace period is determined by the policy in place at the Lexus dealership you rent from. Your rental period begins at the time you pick-up your rental. If you find you need to extend your rental and return later than originally expected (i.e. an active reservation), please contact the dealership.

You may be charged additional reserve days for any extensions or there may be a charge if you go over the 30-day complimentary reserve days provided. Any extension beyond 30 complimentary days is subject to be charged by the dealer

If you have other questions about extending your rental or making other arrangements for vehicle return, feel free to contact the dealership you rented from.

There are no additional fees to make a rental reservation through the Lexus app, as well as no additional fees for cancelling or modifying a reservation.

Additional expenses will be covered inside of the rental agreement that you sign at the dealership. Depending on dealership location, you may be subject to recovery costs for fuel and tolls.

No. There are no additional fees to cancel or modify a reservation.

However, keep in mind that modifications are subject to dealer and vehicle availability.

Toll processing fees are subject to local rates and guidelines.

Upon finishing check-out, your reservation will end, and you will receive a receipt.

No. Making payments through the Lexus app is not available at this time. In the event you need to cancel or modify a reservation, you will not pay additional fees.

This decision is completely up to you. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than you began your trip with, you may be subject to costs outlined within the terms of the rental agreement.

The Lexus app estimates the total credit days utilization based on the number of days you choose to reserve. (1 credit day = 24 hours, no partial days).

Not included in the estimated rental price are optional fueling and any actual highway tolls you may incur on your trip.

If applicable, additional taxes and fees can be found in the rental agreement when arriving at the dealership.

Once you have returned your rented vehicle at the end of your rental reservation, you shall receive an email of your rental receipt. Note: Not included in the estimated rental price are optional fueling and any actual highway tolls you may incur on your trip.

For your convenience your total charges post the completion of your rental reservation will be displayed in the reservation summary under the ‘Past’ tab in your Lexus app and a copy will be emailed to your registered email address.

Receipts are also managed by the dealership and can be emailed to you shortly after the return of your rental. This receipt might contain additional charges like tolls, fuels, damages, etc.

If you are unable to view your total charges in your Lexus app, have questions about your receipts, or did not receive one via email following your rental, please contact the dealership you rented from.
